Hi It is set to only allow an IP to vote once per photo. This is to reduce negative voting against competing photos

One question how come some dont have white stars and others do

The ones without teh stars are new and we need to activate them first - I do that each day - it is to stop spam voting on new entries.

Some great photo's have been entered in the photo competition. It looks like it's going to be close to who wins. How about the people who have posted photos write in and tell us about there dogs. I'll start with Xari who is my sister's Leonberger, this photo was taken the day we picked her up from the airport, after her flight we thought she might need to go to toilet, she seemed pretty happy to be on Australian soil or maybe she was laughing at what we looked like

OK. Who's next? How about you Solid Gold Dancer, what on earth made you think of clipping pegs all over her face She looks very happy about it though.

Hahahaha! Weeeellllll... I had nothing else better to do that day & I always enjoyed torturing my Amber a bit, hahaha! I'm joking... No really, I like to torture her & she always doesn't seem to mind it. Another reason was becoz I thought it would be great to clip all the pegs on her face becoz there's no other dog in the world so far who has done it! You get me? Hehehehe...

P/S: Amber is the Solid Gold Dancer... I'm the Solid Blob Dancer, harharhar!!!

Hi all

On request we have slightly modified the rating system to allow for voting once per day per photo per IP. Which means you can vote on one, a few or all photos once per day (24 hour period).

It was felt that this will not alter the outcome of the competition as it remains a level playing field as all photos have the same rating system up to now and from now on until the end of February.

We have also sent a similar notice to all registered members, if you did not get it maybe you need to check your spam filters or subscribe within your profile to our Newsletter.

LOL, So what else have you done to Amber. I think you should do it to all 3 of them and take a photo, she reminds me of a person with rollers in her hair. I really love the little dog with sunnies riding his car, cracked me up when I first saw that.

OK it seems my last post may have been a bit premature. On testing it seems that the voting will remain as one vote per person per item. This change (or reverse) does not affect any of the current standings and voting to date and the competition will continue as it is now. This is done to reduce the possibility of vote skewing to make it fair for everyone that enters into the competition.
