Degenerative Spondylosis in Dogs - Advice and help desperately needed Posted at 2008/09/15 08:16 Karma: 0
Hi everyone, I new on here and have just had the terrible news my best working Kelpie has got spondylosis in his spine. I am looking for anyone who has had a dog with this problem and any advice on how you treated it, did you get surgery, chiro or acupunture done?? How long did your dog live for and how fast did it go??
I work in a vets but I need to talk to someone who has had a dog with this problem so I know what to expect. My boy is only 8yrs old and very active still.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

Hi Taryn,

I haven't had a dog with this but I did a quick search & found some links if you are interested http://www.holisticvetinfo.com/dysplasia.htm

Goodluck & I hope you can get your dog some comfort
