Adding your favourite video from online video sharing websites like Youtube.com to the Dogsites collection is easy!

1. Login in with your username and password (or join if you are not a member - 'Become a Member' in the Log In box at top right of screen).
2. Click on 'Dogsites Videos' in the main menu.
3. Click on the "Add Video" button at the top of the page.
4. Copy and Paste the video link into the "Input Link" box then click apply.
5. The information to be streamed will be extracted from the website the video is located on. Unless you took the video, do not alter any of the information as this is copyrighted.
6. Enter keywords that describe the video eg: border collie, herding, sheep, new zealand, trial.
7. Use the drop down menu to select the most appropriate category for the video.
8. Save

Video's can legally be streamed from a number of online video sharing websites. Before adding a video, please check the Terms of Use for that particular website. Video sharing sites capable of streaming on Dogsites include Youtube.com, Google video, metacafe.com, break.com. gofish.co, clipfish.de, pikniktube.com, veoh.com, bliptv.com, ifilm.com, myspace videos, mojoflix.com and others.

Obtaining the url for the video will differ from site to site, but as Youtube.com is the most common (and one of the easist to use), all you need to do is open the youtube video you would like to add. On the right hand side of the Youtube screen is a box labelled "About this Video" - click on the "more" link to expand the information and url. This is the url to copy and Paste into the "Input Link" on Dogsites.

Its that simple!

All videos that you add will then be listed in your profile page, so its a great way to share videos of your own dogs with the Dogsites Community.
