To create a Breeders Directory Listing, you first need to become a member, which is free and only takes a couple of minutes.

Click on the "Become a Member" link in the Login box at the top right of your screen. Submit a username, password and your email address and you will receive email confirmation within a few minutes (this is to reduce spammers). Once your membership is verified you can create listings, submit article and post in the discussion forum.

To Create a FREE Dogsites Breeders Directory Listing

1. Log In (top right corner of screen) using your password and username.
2. Click on the Breeders Directory button in the main menu.
3. Click on the 'Help' button to read more detailed information.
4. Click on the "Add Entry" button to create your Breeders Directory listing.
5. Enter your details in the appropriate boxes as indicated - hover your mouse over the blue circles for explanations.
6. Include photos of your dogs in your listing.
7. Read and Accept the Terms of Service.
8. Click the "Send" button at the bottom right of the page.

Your Directory Listing will be indexed by Google as well as being searchable within Dogsites, therefore we suggest you you utilise the meta keywords and meta description with relevant words (without spamming).

Maximising Your Exposure

• Make sure to give a full description (and utilise the html features) - the information your provide tells prospective buyers more about you
• Add photos of your dogs to the Photo Gallery, and videos to Dogsites videos and mention this in your Directory Listing.
• Complete your Profile information so that other people can find out a little more about you, your dogs
• Add details to your Biography in your Profile, so that your favourite breeds are listed next to your name in the Member Profiles list (then you can use the 'Friends' feature to create your own little community
• Join in our forum discussions and consider joining in our Breed Ambassador program for your breed.

In order to prevent spammers and inappropriate material being listed, all Directory listings need to be manually verified before they are made live and viewable on the website.
