To create a Business Directory Listing, you first need to become a member, which is free and only takes a couple of minutes. Click on the "Become a Member" link in the Login box at the top right of your screen. Submit a username, password and your email address and you will receive email confirmation within a few minutes (this is to reduce spammers). Once your membership is verified you can post listings and posts in the discussion forum.

To Create a Business Directory Listing

1. Log In (top right corner of screen) using your password and username.
2. Click on the Business Directory button in the main menu.
3. Click on the 'Help' button to read more detailed information.
4. Click on the "Add Entry" button to create your Business Directory listing.
5. Enter your business details in the appropriate boxes as indicated.
6. Read and Accept the Terms of Service
7. Click the "Send" button at the bottom right of the page.

FREE Business Directory Listings include one category listing for your Business name, telephone, fax, postal/physical address and a detailed text/html description of your products/services (excluding urls).

Your Directory Listing will be indexed by Google as well as being searchable within Dogsites, therefore we suggest you you utilise the meta keywords and meta description with relevant words (without spamming).

Optional Features: Each of the following additional features are available for a small annual fee.

• Website Url $10.00AUD per year
• Business Logo Image: $5.00AUD per year
• Large Main Image: $5.00AUD per year
• Listing in Additional Categories: $5.00AUD each per year

Payments can be made by Paypal or Direct Deposit. Once you click "Send", an account will appear with bank and paypal details and you will also receive a confirmation email with the same details. Once payment is received the entry will be approved and listed on Dogs and an email conifrmation sent to you.

Maximising Exposure for your Business

In addition, to maximise your business exposure within the Dogsites Community, we suggest that you also complete your Profile information so that other people can find out a little more about you, your dogs and your business. You might also like to join in our forum discussions (where you can have a signature with your business details and url), and maybe also submit an article or two to our Article Library with a brief "blurb" at the bottom with your name, relevant experience and business details.

In order to prevent spammers and inappropriate material being listed, all Directory listings need to be manually verified before they are made live and viewable on the website.
