You expressly acknowledge that visiting, accessing, browsing and using this website constitutes your acknowledgement, acceptance and agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, User Agreements, limitations of liability and disclaimers of this website, including any subsequent amendments that may be provided without notice.

Your continued use of this website constitutes your agreement to indemnify and hold Dogsites and its owners harmless from any claim whatsoever made by yourself or by any other third party due to or arising out of the use or misuse of this website.

If you object to any of the Terms and Conditions including any future amendments, discontinue using this website immediately.

The majority of the information on the Dogsites website is provided by members and Users of the website in good faith and does not necessarily express the opinions of Dogsites and its owners.

You acknowledge and agree that Dogsites and its owners do not control Users and are not responsible or liable for the opinions, advice, information or behaviour including defamatory or offensive conduct expressed by Users or provided in any User Added Content. 

User Added Content is offered in good faith for information purposes and Dogsites does not make any warranty or take any legal responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any User Added Content or claims.  Common sense and discretion should always be used when taking advice from online sources.

The User expressly warrants that they have the legal right to use and hold copyright and all Intellectual Property and legal ownership of any information, article, photograph, image, video or any other item submitted to the Dogsites website.

The Dogsites Privacy Policy and Dogsites Article Terms, Dogsites Classifieds Conditions and Breeders Directory Conditions all constitute part of the Dogsites Terms and Conditions.

Dogsites does not guarantee that the website will be available without interruption, error-free or that it will provide specific results from use of the website or its content or links in any way.

Puppy mills, puppy farmers, brokers, wholesalers, pet shops, backyard breeders, mixed breed or so called “Designer Dog” breeders (“Labradoodle”, “Cocka-poo”, “Puggle” etc) are not permitted to use the Dogsites Breeders Directory.

Breeders must be registered with and conform to the Code of Ethics of their National Kennel Club (ANKC, AKC, etc). The ONLY exception to Kennel Club registration is in the case of genuine Breeders of purebred working dogs (eg stock/herding) that are registered with the appropriate breed/stock dog registry in their country.

Registration with all-breed registries such as the Continental Kennel Club (CKC), Federation of International Canines (FIC), America’s Pet Registry (APR) and other registers generally associated with puppy mills are not considered acceptable and will be rejected/removed without notice.

Dogsites DOES NOT verify the bona fides of any User, Organization, dog breeder, individual or business appearing or advertising on the Dogsites website and cannot be held responsible for any transaction that occurs as a result of any information or advertisement on the Dogsites website.  It is the User’s responsibility to check and verify the accuracy, credentials, claims, information, product/animal quality, contact information of buyers/sellers/other Users before entering into any transaction.

The Dogsites Aim and Purpose

Dogsites was established in 1996 as the Premier website for All Things Canine in Australia and around the world.  Our aim has always been to promote responsible dog ownership, dog rescue organizations (pure and mixed breed) and responsible, ethical purebred dog breeders.  We do not support or endorse puppy mills, puppy farmers, brokers, wholesalers, backyard breeders, pet shops that sell puppies or unethical dog breeders.

User added content throughout Dogsites is routinely monitored to ensure compliancy with the Dogsites aims and ethics.  Dogsites is a massive website, therefore if you notice something that contraindicates the purpose and aim of this site, please let us know so that we can remove it immediately.

Dogsites is a family friendly website.  To ensure compliancy and avoid spam and other unsavoury content being added to Dogsites, ALL user added content (Forum posts excluded) will be manually moderated for approval before it is added to Dogsites. 

Unfortunately this does mean that there will be a delay before entries appear on the Dogsites website (with the exception of the Forums, which are still monitored closely). 

Non-compliant content and/or members WILL be removed at Dogsites discretion.  To avoid unnecessary deletion of submission/Forum Posts, it is the User’s responsibility to ensure that the content meets the Dogsites criteria for eligibility.

It is the User’s responsibility to read and follow the instructions provided carefully before making a submission. When a submission is rejected, the User will receive an automated email stating that the contribution has been rejected, HOWEVER, due to the large volume of submissions, individual responses are not possible, therefore It is the User’s responsibility to read and follow the instructions provided carefully!
