During the last year, Hugo had a forced leave of absence from the showring due to my personal injury. However, after not being campaigned for many months, we can now announce that in the opinion of many international, interstate and local judges this young dog is a worthy recipient of his Australian Grand Champion title! *

I would like to publicly thank Greg Browne (Eireannmada) who is co-owner/handler and Ty Atkinson (Nauvoo) (handler) both who exhibited Hugo to some very memorable awards. Indeed, I thank from the bottom of my heart the generosity of my friend from Tasmania, Edyth Langham-Goodwin OAM (Shelomith), who gifted Hugo to us.
The show world certainly has given me wonderful moments and enduring friendships…..

As a companion dog, Hugo would win honours in any competition. He has manners, good grace and common sense. However, there is also a fair swag of that rollicking irish personality packed into his strong, sound, V8 frame … and at the press of a button he can turn into the most laid back guy around!
