Welcome to Balinfern, a 32 acre property at Rosebank in the subtropical hills behind Byron Bay, the most easterly point on the Pacific Ocean coast of Australia.

The name Balinfern harks back to the Scottish ancestry of one of the owners, whose maternal grandfather was born at the end of the 1800s in a very small fishing village named Balintore (in the parish of Fearn), on the far north east coast of Scotland north of Inverness.
