UPDATE: Dog Related Articles
We encourage and welcome new dog related articles from any and all visitors to our web site. By adding an article to our web site you are helping us to continue to build this great dog related resource and reference site as well as help dog owners by having great articles for them to read.
All articles of all types and from anyone are welcome, inclduing commercial operators that offer dog related products and/or services. All articles submitted will include a credit with the submitters name and a link, if wanted, to the submitters web site.
Please note however that only quality and informative articles will be published. Articles that read as a sales pitch will not be published. The articles submitted must be written in good english with little repetition and be of value to our readers that take the time to visit and read the content on our site of which we value very highly.
If you submit an article and we have not replied to you within 7 days please follow up with us in case your article was somehow missed. All articles submitted will be reviewed and a reply sent to you with a link to the published article or a notice explaining why it has not been published.
Any person that has submitted an article that has not been published may resubmit an edited or rewritten article on the same or a different dog related topic.

Happy New Year to Everyone
We would like to wish everyone a very happy new year and a wonderful 2013.
2012 has been a year of early change with our site being fully upgraded with improvements to all of our services, which of course remain free for everyone to use. Towards the end of 2012 the site itself has seen little change, however in the background a lot of work is being done to further update and add more content to the site, including a very large online store for Dogsites members to purchase dog related merchandise and help support the continued development of the Dogsites web site.
UPDATE: Breeders Directory
Based on user and visitor feedback we have modified the Dogsites Breeders Diretory as follows;
- We have modified the Breeders Directory section by including a random listing of 18 puppy entries to be shown above the breed lists.
- The summary card views have been modified slightly for visual appearance with better spacing for content.
- New breeds have been added to include recognised breeds in the US and also the UK, this has been requested many times from both people in Australia and overseas.
As always if you have an idea to make the Puppies Available Classifieds to work better and be improbed in any way please let us know as we really do consider your feedback for future updates.
Dogsites For Sale
The Dogsites dog site is up for sale to interested parties. At this stage we are seeking expressions of Interest in purchasing the Dogsites web site at http://dogsites.com.au/.

Work continues on the web site to improve it on a daily basis, which will continue until sold and handed over to the new owners.
UPDATE: Puppies Available
Based on user and visitor feedback we have modified the Puppies Available classifieds as follows;
- We have modified the Puppies Available section by including a random listing of 18 puppy entries to be shown above the breed lists.
- The way in which the summary classified advert has been changed to allow four entries per line and with a larger photo with less detail so visitors get only what they need and can click on the entry if they wish to read more.
- New breeds have been added to include recognised breeds in the US and also the UK, this has been requested many times from both people in Australia and overseas.

UPDATE: Modified Menu Items
After several people provided us some feedback we have modified our menu so it is better grouped and easier to find what you are looking for.
We have created a 'Classifieds' menu item for sections like Puppies Available, Mature Dogs and Dogs for Rescue. We will consider adding a General Classifieds section if there is demand for it - let us know in our forums.
The Directory section now includes all Directories within our site, we are still reviewing these and may make further changes depending on user feedback.
We have moved the Dog Breeds to a top level menu item with several drop down selecdt options to quickly get to the breeds, sizes or group you want.
There is a new section for You and Your Dogs which includes sections dedicated to you and your dogs, including our Member Dogs section where you can add your dogs for people to view, plus there is our pegigree creator, names for your dog and of course your own Dogsites online profile.
We hope the new menu options are clearer and therefore easier to find what you want.
